The use of standardized CFM settings for most crimping combinations results in effective defect traceability and quality control. Interested? Questions? Or only looking for a safe solution for your application? We are happy to help you. Our CFM and CPM solutions assure crimp quality for a diverse range of wire and terminal combinations, and adapt well onto a wide series of wire processing machines and bench top crimping presses. In addition, all machines already in use can be equipped with this solution. Our real-time crimp monitoring systems provide a reliable, data-driven and objective means to determine the quality of your crimp operation. Our UP 60 pneumatic crimping machine with additional crimp force monitoring UPCFM 608 will be available starting January 2022. Why working with a crimp force monitor is simply better?Īccidentally cut off a few individual strands during stripping? Stripped the insulation of the cable too short or too long for the connector? Just two possibilities that already can cause a bad crimping result! The crimp force monitoring detects all bad connections, and you always have the confidence of an optimal crimping result. Of course, your measurement results are reliably documented in the process. Analyze every single crimp force curve in detail and optimize your processing procedures if necessary. Check that it is positioned correctly and it’s secure. Seat the crimp and wire into the crimping tool and cycle the tool until it releases the crimp. Make sure that every wire strand has been inserted into the crimp. Monitor your crimping processes while production is running. Trim the insulation from the end to expose the wire strands and insert the wire into the crimp. For our compact benchtop crimping machines, only an equally handy system was considered, which can be easily integrated into our UP60. The most important task when crimping is to prevent crimping errors and thereby achieve homogeneous crimped connections. This device was developed to meet the highest quality requirements of the wiring system industry.
